Got in a quick meeting with Chewbacca at Star Wars Weekends last Saturday.
The wide angle of the camera makes him look short but he's actually pretty tall. Not quite as tall as movie Chewie but probably a bit over 7'
The costume, although not perfectly movie accurate, is really nicely done, especially the face, and I was able to get quite a few photos for reference. Going to try to get a few more tomorrow and will post them here when I have a moment.

I feel that with most of the Chewy costumes it is the face that makes or breaks it.
